We have two lime trees in the front garden that are currently far too big for the garden the only trees shown on the front garden plan. They extend by a considerable length into the neighbour's garden (no 27), they are far too high and protrude well over the pavement and onto the road. There is a photo from 1985 (when we moved in) and a comparison from today showing how much they have grown, although we have had them pruned in the interim several times, and this is the idea of what we would like to go back to. Furthermore, the trees exude a sap that drips off the trees from May to September and is causing damage to both our cars and our neighbour's to the left (no 23) as we have a shared drive. It also drips on to the garden wall which is very unpleasant. In the back garden (and not sure permission is needed for the back garden?) we have a fig tree (number 3 on the plan) that again has grown far to big / wide / high for it's space. It now over shadows both our house and our neighbour to our left, number 23, and robs them of the evening sunshine. We are keen to cut these three trees back considerably so that they are more manageable going forward and do not intrude on to our neighbours' property or over the road.HAR/ CA15
