Proposal
The refurbishment of a dilapidated building of 11 - 13 Lower Hillgate, Stockport which lies within a conservation area. Conversion of 1st floor and 2nd floor space into 7 self contained apartments which includes removing the rear metal roof structure and replacing it with a single storey extension to the rear of the building (facing onto Harvey Street). Ground floor commercial units to be retained, and a new shopfront to provide separate access to each commercial unit and the residential units on the upper floors. The bin store will be accessed through a separate door at the front of the building facing onto Lower Hillgate.
