The process from here
Permission has been granted, usually subject to conditions listed on the decision notice, some of which must be discharged before work starts. The decision notice on the council portal sets out exactly what was approved.
Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses. Neighbours cannot appeal a grant; challenging one means judicial review of how the decision was made, within tight time limits.
About this record
Reading the register
This page mirrors an entry on the statutory planning register that Stockport is required to keep. The published feed for this record does not state which type of application it is, which is common for older entries and for some council systems; the register entry on the council portal will say, alongside the case officer and any consultation dates.
Every planning application follows the same broad path: submission, validation, publicity, then a decision by officers or committee. Our guide to planning application types explains the common types and what each can approve.

Tree A - silver birch- remove entire tree. Unfortunately the tree is in decline. It doesnt have healthy leaf cover in the summer.? picture (taken in the autumn unfortunately but birch is dying back. HAR/CA10, TPO 72N. Group B - 2 x ash. Reduce both trees by a maximum of 2.25 meters. Pruning to BS3998. Objective is to ensure the trees stay in context with their garden boundary location and prevent limb failure of the most lateral branches by reducing their weight

T1 Ash - Remove one lateral limb over children's play area. Tree was previously covered in ivy, limb has grown so long and laterally i do not believe it can sustain itself. Limb approx 180mm at collar. Deadwood. T2 Sycamore - Remove 3 small branches also overhanging play area, small pieces have dropped initiating the cause for concern. I'd guess limbs are 80-100mm at collar, tree is hosting ivy, hard to be certain. Deadwood. Trees located in G18 at rear of property. HAR/CA10, TPO 1eE.
