The project involves the construction of a single storey, 4m deep extension to the rear of a semi detached house. The extension will have a pitched roof and brickwork load bearing external cavity walls. There will be uPVC or aluminium bi fold doors to the rear elevation of the extension. The extension roof will have concrete tiles with two Velux type windows fitted into each pitch. Fascias, soffits, rainwater goods will all be in uPVC to match the existing house. In terms of the existing house, a rear bedroom window will be reduced in size to accommodate the new extension roof, and a side door will be removed and bricked up.
