The process from here
Permission has been granted, usually subject to conditions listed on the decision notice, some of which must be discharged before work starts. The decision notice on the council portal sets out exactly what was approved.
Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses. Neighbours cannot appeal a grant; challenging one means judicial review of how the decision was made, within tight time limits.
About outline applications
How this application type works
An outline application tests the principle of developing a site before the detail is worked up. Some or all of the particulars, such as appearance, layout, scale, access and landscaping, are held back as reserved matters for later approval. Permission at outline stage does not by itself allow building to start; the reserved matters must be approved first.

I am looking to install an EV charger at my house, however there are a few issues that need to be address. The first issue is that there is not a designated parking space on the road and it is a shared parking on the road. The second issue is on the side of the house, and where the EV charged will be installed, there is a hedge between the house and the parking spaces. I have had an electrician visit to survey the house and advise where the best place is to install the EV charger given the situation and he has advised on the side of the house, and to create somewhere of a path between the side of the house, through the hedges, to the parking spaces. I have uploaded a number of pictures to illustrate the challenges. On the first picture, with the red circle, this shows where the EV charger will be installed, and the hedges that are on the side of the house. The picture also shows the distance between the side of the house and the parking spaces. The second picture shows the hedges that are in front of the side of the house where we would like to create a pathway. Could you please advise the feasibility and possibility of creating a pathway through the hedges in order to have a path between the EV charger and my car and what are the next actions? I am keen to open a dialogue to find the best way to get an EV charger installed at my house

Proposal to install a new side personnel door (inward opening) and side window (fixed) into the western elevation of our detached double garage that directly fronts a public footpath and verge. I believe that this will not require planning consent and is PD, but am told that I should check in case Article 4 direction applies and i would need to apply for planning consent.

I am proposing to construct a single-storey rear extension to my property under Permitted Development rights. The extension will replace a previous lean-to and is intended to comply with all relevant Permitted Development limitations. Please confirm whether there are any planning conditions or other restrictions affecting my property and advise what information or documents will be required to support a future Lawful Development Certificate (Proposed) application
