Reduce crown by 2m back to closest growth point. 1925 - Pedunculate oak. Crown Reduction. Reduce upper canopy by approx 6m to leave 1m stubs above the main union. Retain all lateral and epicormic growth below the cuts. 1922 - Pedunculate oak. Crown Reduction. Reduce canopy by 2-3m. Prune back to suitable sublateral growth and retain all inner canopy foliage.
