Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
Five Day Notification to carry out tree works to the following: reduce leaning Oak Tree T43 on the western side of the canopy by up to 4 meters (where necessary) due to recent appearance of cracks around the root plate on the eastern side of the stem, although the cracks could be due to the prolonged dry weather this tree is being monitored for movement as it does have a 23 degree lean. Retain as much growth on the eastern side of the canopy to counter act the lean but reduce where necessary to retain the natural shape and balance. Make sure not the pollard the tree but take pruning cuts back to suitable growth points to maintain the health of the tree.
