Proposal

Installation of OPTION 1 root barrier by digging a trench as described in the feasibility study attached. All trenching, root severance, tree RPA protection and the operation of plant, must adhere to the relevant sections of BS 5837.2012 (Trees in relation to design, demolition and construction . Recommendations). It is the contractors responsibility to comply with this standard.Root Barrier is to maintain a 2.5m clear distance from property , this is to maintain existing foundation bearing capacity.The root barrier must not encroach on Root Protection Areas (maintain a distance of 12 times the diameter of the trunk taken at 1.5m above ground level).
