Proposal
T1 1x Robinia. Large collapsed lateral limb falling on Crossways driveway to the east of tree. The limb was heavily weighed down with mistletoe. Additionally and most relevantly, dysfunctional wood volumes internally could be seen in breakage on the tensile element of lateral branch. Dark dead cambium and heart wood which will have lost dynamic properties consequentially. Additionally the appears to be some inclusion in a bifurcation. The tree has canopy cover over Ferry Lane, Crossways and Lady & St John's Chapel, all areas with high occupancy. Specification: • Reduce overall canopy by 2-2.5 metres, including a dominant sub limb to the west over the church. • Remove/prune out mistletoe T2 1x Leyland Cypress. With proximity to the Robinia is a dominant lapsed leylandii growing through the Robinia and over road, forcing tree to put outer growth on, only leading to potentially end heavy lever arm characteristics. Specification: • Reduce by 4.0m in height • Prune some width where possible as road width is compromised.
