Planning application
April Cottage 34 Gravel Hill Henley-on-Thames RG9 2EE
Works: Roofing
Decided. The decision notice on the council portal carries the outcome in full, including any conditions.
Proposal
To install a weight bearing flitch beam in the roof space to relieve weight on the existing purlin which has failed and is currently being supported by a temporary post. To bolt and fix the beam to the roof structure in accordance with structural engineer drawings. To access roof space by removing roof tiles, which will be put back. To reinforce the upstairs bedroom/landing wall using traditional materials (timber) to help to support the new beam.
