T1 - Birch G2 - Leylandii x 5 A small urgan garden with 5 large Leylandii and one Silver Birch beside the house within the side access. The 5 x Leylandii have huge growth potential left and are not particularly suitable for this location. Complete removal has been discussed with a view to replant in the future. The Silver Birch, whilst a more suitable urban tree, is in a poor location which will in time cause issues with neighbouring wall and retaining wall to lower part of the house. Specification: Silver Birch: provide qualified team to carefully dismantle tree in sections removing all waste from site. Leylandii: provide qualified time to carefully dismantle these trees in section utilising modern rigging techniques. All waste to be removed from site and resultant stumps to be ground out to a depth of approx 300 mm below ground level. Remarks:

The Magnolia and Fig are getting too large to fulfil light levels indoors, restricting views of the sky and showing too much shade now. Pruning overall extension growth will cause vigorous regrowth and deepen the problem. The garden has a delicate sophisticated natural plant architecture feel. The pruning needs to be aligned to this successful visual. T1 - Magnolia Front Garden: Thin canopy by 10% to increase dappled light. Lift canopy targeting subbranches for a natural look. Reduce back selected laterals obscuring windows of house. T2 - Flowering plum: reduce height by 0.5m. T3 - Fig. Back Garden: Too dense and now taking too much light from seating and garden areas close to the house again. Thin by 10%, look to form but reduce areas where too much growth dominates.
