Proposal

T1 - Norway Maple (Acer platanoides) Location: Rear garden, north-eastern boundary Approximate Height: 8 metres Proposed Works: - Crown reduction of approximately 2.5m - Reduction of lateral spread - Removal of defective co-dominant stem back to union - Alternative: Installation of Cobra dynamic bracing system Reason for Works: The tree contains a co-dominant stem with included bark and structural weakness. Selective reduction will improve structural balance and longevity. T3 - Plum (Prunus domestica) Location: Rear garden, north-western boundary Approximate Height: 8 metres Proposed Works: - Pollarding to reduce height by approximately 3m - Lateral reduction to balanced framework - Light crown thinning Reason for Works: The canopy is congested and structurally unbalanced. Proposed works will improve airflow and stability. General Method Statement All works will be carried out in accordance with BS3998:2010 and HSE guidance. Cuts will be made to suitable growth points. All arisings will be removed unless agreed otherwise.
