T2 - Yew T3 - Sycamore T4 - Poplar T2 - Yew & T3 - Sycamore - Reduce the radial spread over garden by around 2 metres. The above works are in the interests of maintaining these trees with high amenity value at a scale that is in proportion with the properties and gardens on both sides of the boundary. T4 - Poplar - Fell to ground level. This is a vigorous pollarded tree of no particular merit. Both gardens on either side of it have vegetable plots which are compromised by the shade from this tree. It grows close to the boundary wall and will start to impact on the wall in coming years. It is an unsuitable species for this location. Remarks:

G1 Sycamore x3 - Pollard tree at 5 metres from ground level. Reasons for Works: The trees are located within the pub's bin store area in close proximity to surrounding structures. During inspection, it was noted that soil has been built up around the base of the stems above the natural root flare, which may be concealing basal decay. In addition, both trees are exhibiting signs of physiological stress, including crown decline and secondary branch dieback. Given their location adjacent to areas of public access and nearby structures, the trees present an elevated risk to people and property. Pollarding is therefore recommended to achieve a significant reduction in crown weight, allowing the trees to be retained while reducing the level of risk to an acceptable level.
