Proposal
To repoint and repair the existing pointing to the entire cottage removing previous inappropriate cement mortar and poor quality lime mortar. To tie in minor cracks above and below windows using horizontal 5mm stainless steel rods across cracks within existing mortar bed joints. To add an additional rainwater down pipe to No. 2 Cottage where rainwater currently discharges onto hipped end and is running down front elevation.
