  1 x Crack Willot (T9) - (early mature) situated in the centre of the Phyllis Court Boat Club storage area - the club is a popular boat club with increasing membership and boats being launched on the famous Henley Regatta Course all year round. Currently a crack willow is situated in the centre of the storage area. Various solutions have been considered, all with no effective mitigation. Subsequently it is proposed, a superior replanting option of three trees would retain tree amenity value in the immediate area and the removal of the crack willow would allow the function of the boat club. Specifically, boats, particularly 8's, need to be manoeuvered and turned around for launching, retreiving or storage. Any point at which two boats are removed at the same timeis problematic. Proposed works and planting: the proposal is to fell this Willow and replant with 3 x replacement Salix alba Chermesina 14-16cm in the immediate season post felling with 5 year aftercare programme replacing any failures or trees with significant defects.
