Proposal

Birch x 1 Fell Birch x 1 to facilitate installation of small stage/performance platform. Tree location shown as G9 (i) on location plan which is attached as appendix 1. Also see photos at appendix 2. The stage was approved as part of the change ofuse and redesign proposals that were the subject of planning application P00/S0971 but was not installed at the time of the redesign works. See design plan at appendix 3. Having calculated the RPA of existing adjacent trees, the removal of the one birch tree is considered expedient to ensure protection of the remaining trees and ensure future compatibility with the structure. It is proposed to plant a replacement birch (heavy standard) at the front (south) of the two remaining trees comprising G9 as shown on the location plan at appendix 1. Remarks:
