Proposal

G1 - We have been advised to felll a Horse Chestnut and an Ash tree as soon as possible and seek permission to do this work. The two trees are part of a group identified as G1 on TPO 111/2009. They are identified individually on our arboricultural survey of July 17 as Horse Chestnut T36 and Sycamore/Ash T38. Horse Chestnut has a hollow and wet rot at its base. Ash is growing through and rubbing the sycamore felling the ash should help the sycamore to grow well. There is a younger, separate horse chestnut growing alongside the tree to be felled. This may survive and grow. No replanting planned.
