T1 - Sycamore T1 - Sycamore - located towards the back of the property as marked on the plan. The tree which I would like to take down is a Sycamore which has suffered considerable fire damage to its main trunk, as a result of bonfires carried out by the previous owners too close to the tree. Some of the roots have also been damaged by a brick wall which has been in existence for many years and has impeded the growth and stability of the tree. With these conditions in mind I sought the advice of Paul Jenks of Jenks Oxford Ltd, Arboricultural Contractors. He surveyed the tree and pointed out to me that the canopy was also dying back. His advice was therefore that the tree should be felled for safety reasons. I hope therefore that as there are a multitude of other trees on my property you will allow this work to proceed. Remarks:
