Planning application

Bayswater Farm Road, Headington, Oxford, OX3 8BY

Granted South Oxfordshire P17/S5105/TPO Works to TPO

Works: Trees

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

G1 - Lime trees - 10 x no. trees are to be reduced back to roadway edge. This equates to removal of branch tips in many of the trees. No removal of entire branch length necesary. G1 - Lime trees 3 x no. immediately adjacent to Plot 1 (as shown on plan) these individuals have crowns up to the western flank of the plot. Much of the building work has been completed whilst avoiding damage to the trees. Eastern side of trees to be reduced in branch length to 4m from stem. Equates to lateral branch removal of approx 1.5m. In addition this will allow adequate clearance of the adjacent footpath. T2 - English Oak - there are a number of damaged hanging branches that need to be cleaned up/removed. T3 & T4 - HB Poplar Trees to be crown lifted to 5m clearance above road.
