T1 - Lime T2 - Lime T3 - Pershore Plum T4 - Laxton Fortune Dessert Apple Trees 1 and 2 are mature Lime trees with lower trunks 0.50m diameter, age at least 60 years and possibly 100 years. In the past 50 years they have been polled (all branches cut off) approximately every 6 years. This is now again due because the branches are overhanging Main Road over the boundary wall and others are in contact with the roof of the house. It is proposed to cut off the branches close to the trunks, as on many previous occasions. The trees will be unsightly in summer 2017, but will soon recover to give shade for the patio area and lawn to the south. Tree 3 is a Pershore Plum about 40 years old and is mainly dead wood. It is now unattractive and it no longer bears an accessible crop of plums. There is insufficient space between a vigorous nut bush and lime tree 2 so it is proposed to cut it off close to the ground and not to replace it. Tree 4 is a Laxton Fortune dessert apple age about 30 years, trunk diameter 0.25m approximately. It regularly produces a very large crop, so large that some branches have bent down and have partially broken off. It is proposed to reshape the tree by cutting off some branches and clearing the overcrowded parts. Remarks: Spec:

T1 Cedar Following the failure of a large lateral during a severe weather event our client requested that the tree be removed. This request was submitted on the 4th June 2025. This company was advised that request for felling was be refused and so the request was withdrawn. Our client now requires that we request consent for the following crown reduction works in order to stabilise the canopy sections. We therefore request consent to reduce the height by 2m and laterals by approximately 1m. Reason for above work: To bring back into scale and good arboricultural practices.
