Proposal
1 x Late mature Copper Beech - the encroachment of infrastructure both historically and over the last decade combined with late maturity has allowed this tree to become susceptible to Kretzschmaria deusta, now in evidence. The Kretzschmaria deusta is sufficiently advanced to be of concern and located consistently on the east, west and south of the tree with a further concentration close to the trifurcation at 6m a.g.l on the east. Additionally, on the east there is bark dlamination and significant frass. The above observations indicate pathogen presence being advanced and present for some time. To satisfy duty of care the tree is now regarded as hazardous and will require removal. The client is conscientious and we wish to plant a significant large tree approx 3m to the north. This will be either an English Oak or Fastigiate Oak (heavy standard). Additionally we wish to plan an Acer campestre (heavy standard to the western boundary). 1 x Thuja located in front garden - remove dead, dying and diseased wood and lightly canopy thin by 10% targeting branch ends predominantly. Strip ivy and inspect integrity of bifurcation. T1 Copper Beech Spec: S16 Fell tree to ground level and grind stump.
