Proposal

T1 - Oak An oak (Quercus robur) c.2.5m tall and 8.4cm diameter at 1.5m on "the wharf" at Clifton Hampden has blown over and is unsightly. It needs removing. Though it could be proppedup again it would be unlikely to survive because a) the roots are damaged, and b) the soil is too wet. We propose to replace it with an Alder (Alnus glutinosa) in the same place. It is an eyesore at present and has no amenity value. Remarks:
