  • P17/S4947/TPO Granted

    Beavers House, Peppard Lane, HENLEY-ON-THAMES

4 x Corsican Pine We received planning permission tp replace a 5 bedroom dwelling with 2 x 4 bedroom dwellings at Beavers House, Peppard Lane (planning consent P16/S3073/FUL). There are four Corsican Pine trees in the rear garden areas of the development that are protected by TPOs. They are enormous (gorgeous) trees but they are blocking a lot of light into the new gardens. We would like to undertake crown lifting works to three of the Corsican Pines (trees numbered T2, T3 and T4 on the plan). This will allow more light into the garden areas for both dwellings. The works required for the lifting on trees T2 and T3 are relatively minimal - there are only two branches on each tree that are drooping low and overhanging the garden areas, blocking the light. For T4, there are 4 branches that need to be lifted as these all droop low over the garden area. Pictures are attached with this application. If we lift these as described, we will bring the Corsican Pines T2, T3 and T4 to the same crown height as the Corsican Pine at the north of the plot, which we have labelled T1 on the plan (and which does not have any branches hanging low obscuring light.
