Proposal
3 Lime trees (plus the 3 outside Roundwood above). To carry out routine pollarding to previous pollard points as has been approved and carried out on several previous occasions, using the services of Mark Lovejoy. The trees stand on the roadside in line with the Limes in the Avenue. Another application is to be made by another resident on behalf of several other Avenue residents who, I understand, are planning to use a different contractor. G1 The group consisting of 48 Limes (excluding the tree outside 9/11 Walton Avenue) Spec: S13 Re-pollard to previous pollard points, retaining knuckle. Reason: R1 Sound arboricultural management Reason: R2 To ensure future compatibility with site, surroundings and usage

T1, T2, T3 & T4 Lime trees, thin crowns by 30%. Crown clean and crown lift to 6m. T5. Horse Chestnut thin crown by 30% and crown clean. These trees are owned by Lime Court which consists of several apartments. T1, T2, T3 & T5 are situated on Walton Avenue, unlike T4 which is within the garden of Lime Court. T1, T2 & T3 are Lime Trees, and are part of an avenue of Limes which are regularly pollarded on Walton Avenue. Some of the residents of Lime Court wanted the trees pollarded to match the test of the Avenue and allow more light into the property. Whilst some were against this as they were worried about losing their privacy. The work I have applied for is a compromise which will allow more light into the property whilst maintaining privacy. T4 & T5 require the same work specification so that the trees are consistent.
