T2 - Oak on public footpath to the rear boundary. Reduce lateral branches on lower canopy only by approx 1.5m. I would like to obtain consent for reducing lateral branches on an English Oak Tree. The tree is positioned on the rear footpath on Peppard Lane and just outside the boundary of Blandy Road. The tree is a mature species showing good vigour. By reducing these lateral branches, this will promote more natural light throughout the garden. The tree is considered by my client to have strong amenity and ecological values. I suggest reducing the laterials by 1.5m on the lower canopy only. All cuts will be made at sufficient branch junctions ensuring live growth is present, no cuts will exceed 750mm.
