One of the Douglas Firs in the group, adjacent to an oak, near the south-east corner of the garage has died. This is advice that I need to fell it for safety reasons asap. G1 The group consisting of 3 Douglas Fir, 4 Oaks, 1 Acer negundo, 2 Horse Chestnut, 1 Beech, 1 Lime, 1 Holly, 1 Leyland Cypress Spec: S15 Fell tree to ground level. Ash (T2 of TPO 09/2019) - Reduce back crown over single storey block D4 by a maximum of 4m at its widest point (work mainly relates to over extended limbs over roof). Reduce back low branches over the roof to create 3m clearance. Cutback branches from front of the adjacent building (D6) to create 2-3m clearance. To help balance the crown, reduce remaining crown by approx. 2m. To avoid altering the balance of the tree as a whole, the crown of the tree should be reduced in proportion to its original shape. All pruning cuts must be made at branch junctions, leaving sufficient live growth to maintain or enhance crown form.
