Reduce the end weight of this limb by 25% 3294 - Sycamore - Ivy covered with poor form, regrowth from previously felled stump - fell 3295 - Layrel - Group of 5, coppice at 0.6m 3296 - Leylandii - Snapped main leader, remove hangers and reduce and reshape the upper canopy to reduce the likelyhood of further collapse. 3297 - Leylandii - Snapped main leader, reduce by 5-6m to small secondary branches to ensure the remaining stem does not fail. 3298 - Sycamore - Squirrell damaged, remove two hanging branches and remove the broken nubs. 3299 - Norway Maple - Large cavity at the base with pytophora affecting one significant buttress root, leaning heavily towards the neighbouring property, crown reduce the most extended branches and upper canopy by 2m and crown thin by 40%. 3300 - Holm Oak - Large cavity in betweem the two main stems comprising the main union, install one 4 ton non invasive cobra to reduce the risk of collapse. 3301 - Atlantic Cedar - Main leader snapped leaving significant cavity - fell and replant as long term retention is unlikely. 3302 - Beech - Mature specimen with cavity on main scaffold brach resulting from loss of secondary branch, whin out small diameter branches from the damaged limb by 30% 3303 - Sycamore - Coppice to 0.6m to produce a thicker screen 3304 - Purple Plum - Formative pruning required to remove an included stem and reshape as required. 3305 - Cercis - Install x 2 2ton non invasive cobra braces 1.2m above existing brace. 3306 - Sycamore - poor form with included unions growing against a small retaining wall. Fell 3307 - Sycamore - Growing against a small wall - fell 3308 - London Plane - Reduce included branch by 2ms to reduce risk of failure. 3309 - Hawthorn - Several clumps of hawthorn which have been previously reduced by 1.5m, reduce to previous pruning points to encourage thickening at the base of the hedge. 3310 - Laurel Hedge - previously reduced back from roadside, resulting regrowth from the base will be retained whilst larger stems will be coppiced to 0.6m to encourage further thickening. 3311 - Birch - Small with form and die back leaning heavily. 3312 - Lime - Poor form, prune clear of adjacent lime by removing several small branches. 3313 - Lime - Crown raise to 2.5m and remove 2 competing secondary leaders. 3314 - Highways - Provide statutory 5.2m clearance from highway edge. 3315 - Layrel - Bank of laurel adj to drive coppice the laurel to 0.6m to encouage regrowth from the base 3316 - Holly - remove 3 small stems to allow light to reach the Yew within the bank.

T1269 - Holm Oak - crown reduction 30% and deadwood removal. The tree has a severe fungi infection, Ganoderma Australe, which has caused white rot as well as a thinning brown canopy, trunk discolouration and deadwood throughout. A reduction to help prevent further damage from wind or the heavyweight the tree may no longer be able to support. Weakening causes through the fungi infection. T1271 - complete removal. Tree is severely rotten and dead. Rot cavity holes into the tree, at the base of the trunk and half way up. Dead branches all the way up tree. Tree needs to be completely removed as soon as possible.

G7 - 3 Holly, Photo 1 (H1-3 on plan). Reduce height by 12'-15'. Reasons: Primary: safety trees are roadside, one stem has fallen into road recently, (photo 2) so reducing to increase stability. Secondary: Increase light into garden area, and to encourage lower growth to thicken up screen. Additional planting recommended. Holm Oak (H02 on plan). Remove broken branch (photo 3) and prune growth back on garden side to regain shape and to encourage lower growth to thicken screen. Holm Oak (H01 on plan, photo 4). Reduce back stems over road. Holm Oak (T3) sustained snow damage (photo 5) inspect wound damage and clean up to minimise possibility of further damage if necessary.

T1: Birch: Twin stemmed Birch with a crown break a couple of feet above ground level. This tree has had cobra bracing installed and has previously had a crown reduction undertaken due to the applicants concerns over its safety with its close proximity to their own and neighbouring properties and the high volume of pedestrians who walk past the house particularly during the school pick up and drop off timings. The applicant wishes to reduce the height of the tree by 4 metres, to a point just above the previous pruning points and the lateral branches by up to 1 metre. T2, T3 and T4: Birch: Applicant wishes to carry out a 2m crown reduction of all 3 trees. These trees were planted by the applicant on the basis that they would be maintained as small trees owing to the size of space in this area of the garden and the proximity of buildings.

There are two trees in the front garden Permission is requested to fell both trees. Tree 1 = Weeping Birch Tree Tree 2 = Maple Tree Weeping Birch (Tree 1) This has become too large for the site, the roots are lifting the paving around it, making it a trip hazard. Roots have also entered the nearby drains, causing problems. Permission is sought to fell the tree, to make safe access to the property and to make space on the driveway for off street parking. (There is a nearby primary school, and parking can be a challenge.) Maple (Tree 2) This tree has also become too big for its location, which is very close to the boundary of No. 5 and No. 7 Vicarage Rd, causing lifting of the paving around it. It is also very close to both houses. Permission is sought to fell this tree.
