Proposal
T1012, T1013, & T1014 - lean over the boundary towards south facing aspect. Many overhanging branches constantly shed and need to be crownlifted, thinned and to include any wayward laterals and remove debris. These branches directly overhang a parking area and two accesses to private residences. Work to these trees is included in a tree survey by Cariad Court but not planned in the immediate future due to funds. Cariad Court have given permission for this work to be carried out providing SODC approves and we pay for it. As it is likely to cause imminent damage to parked vehicles we would hope to effect the work immediately once approved. T1005 - Lime - build up of garden waste near base, basal shoots, fluted trunk. Deadwood throughout crown, major old wound at top of trunk at 1.7m. Old wound/cavity at top of trunk at 2.5m with evidence of old decay potentially weakening limbs over garages. Reduce height of main stem over road by c3m and lateral branches in proportion. Reduce pair of stems over garages by approx 3m. Remove basal shoots. T1004 - Horse Chestnut - canopy suppressed by adjacent lime. Very old wounds on trunk, largest of which on E side could conceal more extensive decay. Lower wound (E side) needs further investigation with Resistograph.

T1 - Copper Beech - Reduce branches by approximately 2 metres focusing mainly on lateral branches rather than the top. Lift canopy to provide statutory clearance over the road and clear from service cables. T2 - Tulip Tree - Reduce by approximately 3 metres to restore balance within the crown due to previous limb failure leaving the tree unbalanced. T3 - Horse Chestnut - Reduce by approximately 3 to 4 metres, leaving a natural flowing crown outline and remove major deadwood. T4 - To fell and remove 1 x Yew tree and install eco plugs to prevent re-growth.

T1 Copper Beech. Low canopy over road and footpath. To raise canopy to statutory clearances, (5.2m over road, 2.5m over footpath). To remove deadwood greater than 60mm over road and footpath, for safety purposes, minimising any chance for larger falling deadwood in windy conditions.

Ash (T2 of TPO 09/2019) - Reduce back crown over single storey block D4 by a maximum of 4m at its widest point (work mainly relates to over extended limbs over roof). Reduce back low branches over the roof to create 3m clearance. Cutback branches from front of the adjacent building (D6) to create 2-3m clearance. To help balance the crown, reduce remaining crown by approx. 2m. To avoid altering the balance of the tree as a whole, the crown of the tree should be reduced in proportion to its original shape. All pruning cuts must be made at branch junctions, leaving sufficient live growth to maintain or enhance crown form.
