Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
Fell tree. We moved into the premises in 2007 when the TPO was already in place. Since moving in, the tree has grown to an un-manageable size and is causing the following problems: The tree moves a lot during high winds. Neighbours complain about the whistling noise it makes when it is windy. The branches of the tree are touching my house roof, which could cause damage to the roof tiles and guttering and may eventually cause structural damage. The tree stands approx 20 ft above the height of the house and blocks out light into all rooms at the front of the house. My children are forced to sleep in the back of the house as the noise of the tree frightens them as the branches scrape against the windows and keeps them awake at night. The tree gives off a great deal of sap, covering my car which is parked on my driveway and also gets into the children's clothes. This is also walked into the house. It is rubbing on the telephone and electricity cables which will cause obvious problems in the future. T1 Monkey Puzzle Spec: S15 Fell tree to ground level. Reason: R2 To ensure future compatibility with site, surroundings and usage Reason: R7 Close to building, services, road or public highway (delete as appropriate) Reason: R8 Blocking light

T1 - Copper Beech - Reduce branches by approximately 2 metres focusing mainly on lateral branches rather than the top. Lift canopy to provide statutory clearance over the road and clear from service cables. T2 - Tulip Tree - Reduce by approximately 3 metres to restore balance within the crown due to previous limb failure leaving the tree unbalanced. T3 - Horse Chestnut - Reduce by approximately 3 to 4 metres, leaving a natural flowing crown outline and remove major deadwood. T4 - To fell and remove 1 x Yew tree and install eco plugs to prevent re-growth.

T1 Copper Beech. Low canopy over road and footpath. To raise canopy to statutory clearances, (5.2m over road, 2.5m over footpath). To remove deadwood greater than 60mm over road and footpath, for safety purposes, minimising any chance for larger falling deadwood in windy conditions.

Ash (T2 of TPO 09/2019) - Reduce back crown over single storey block D4 by a maximum of 4m at its widest point (work mainly relates to over extended limbs over roof). Reduce back low branches over the roof to create 3m clearance. Cutback branches from front of the adjacent building (D6) to create 2-3m clearance. To help balance the crown, reduce remaining crown by approx. 2m. To avoid altering the balance of the tree as a whole, the crown of the tree should be reduced in proportion to its original shape. All pruning cuts must be made at branch junctions, leaving sufficient live growth to maintain or enhance crown form.
