T1 - Box Elder The tree is a Box Elder. It is taller than the telephone wires almost as tall as house despite having been trimmed twice. Its roots go in sewage. We would like it removed and a much smaller tree or a bush in its place, eg. Eleagnus. I planted the Box Elder but didn't realise how tall it would grow. It also takes all the goodness from the soil. T1 - Acacia T1 - Acacia - recent visit shows further decline in upper canopy indicating a potentially limited vascular system, shown in this case by the decline of bark exposing what would be the cambial layer underneath and or root stress. Fungal pathogens have been noted emanating from the lawn. Remarks:

Cherry Tree (Prunus Avium) Cherry Tree (Prunus Avium)- Located in rear garden. Repeat of pruning, combined thinning and reduction of the tree canopy. Reduce foliage density by 20% to allow more light to gardrn beneath. The thinning operation will remove the large exntesion growth from the previous pruning opertations so as to slightly reduce canopy spread (by a maximum of 1.0m) and maintain the tree at a suitable size for its location. T1: Birch: Twin stemmed Birch with a crown break a couple of feet above ground level. This tree has had cobra bracing installed and has previously had a crown reduction undertaken due to the applicants concerns over its safety with its close proximity to their own and neighbouring properties and the high volume of pedestrians who walk past the house particularly during the school pick up and drop off timings. The applicant wishes to reduce the height of the tree by 4 metres, to a point just above the previous pruning points and the lateral branches by up to 1 metre. T2, T3 and T4: Birch: Applicant wishes to carry out a 2m crown reduction of all 3 trees. These trees were planted by the applicant on the basis that they would be maintained as small trees owing to the size of space in this area of the garden and the proximity of buildings.

There are two trees in the front garden Permission is requested to fell both trees. Tree 1 = Weeping Birch Tree Tree 2 = Maple Tree Weeping Birch (Tree 1) This has become too large for the site, the roots are lifting the paving around it, making it a trip hazard. Roots have also entered the nearby drains, causing problems. Permission is sought to fell the tree, to make safe access to the property and to make space on the driveway for off street parking. (There is a nearby primary school, and parking can be a challenge.) Maple (Tree 2) This tree has also become too big for its location, which is very close to the boundary of No. 5 and No. 7 Vicarage Rd, causing lifting of the paving around it. It is also very close to both houses. Permission is sought to fell this tree.
