Proposal
1 x Bay Yew Hedging 1 x Sycamore 1 x Holly 1 x Beech 1 x Horse Chestnut A. Specification: Pruning works to improve light levels on boundary 1 x Bay with conical form and no works recommended. Yew Hedging - lateral width prune and light height reduction. 1 x Sycamore (semi mature) - unsuitable self seeded tree. Fell to ground level. 1 x Holly (semi mature) - prune back to existing template 1 x Beech (semi mature) - lapsed hedge. Prune back to original template to improve light. B. Specification: Group of Lawson Cypress adjacent to school buildings including cutting down of Cherry stump In poor condition. Fell by dismantling in sections using rigging techniques. C. Specification: 1 x Horse Chestnut (late mature) - this tree shows a numbeer of concerning factors that require further evaluation. There is some decay ingress to basal area and this should be investigated by Resistograph testing to establish whether stability issues are present. Furthermore, there appears to be some hazard beams and other defects in the canopy. Carry out climbing inspection to ascertain whether any areas are susceptible. Make recommendations and compile report. (includes Resistograph and Climbing Inspection). Remarks:

There are two trees in the front garden Permission is requested to fell both trees. Tree 1 = Weeping Birch Tree Tree 2 = Maple Tree Weeping Birch (Tree 1) This has become too large for the site, the roots are lifting the paving around it, making it a trip hazard. Roots have also entered the nearby drains, causing problems. Permission is sought to fell the tree, to make safe access to the property and to make space on the driveway for off street parking. (There is a nearby primary school, and parking can be a challenge.) Maple (Tree 2) This tree has also become too big for its location, which is very close to the boundary of No. 5 and No. 7 Vicarage Rd, causing lifting of the paving around it. It is also very close to both houses. Permission is sought to fell this tree.

T1 - Copper Beech - Reduce branches by approximately 2 metres focusing mainly on lateral branches rather than the top. Lift canopy to provide statutory clearance over the road and clear from service cables. T2 - Tulip Tree - Reduce by approximately 3 metres to restore balance within the crown due to previous limb failure leaving the tree unbalanced. T3 - Horse Chestnut - Reduce by approximately 3 to 4 metres, leaving a natural flowing crown outline and remove major deadwood. T4 - To fell and remove 1 x Yew tree and install eco plugs to prevent re-growth.

T1 Copper Beech. Low canopy over road and footpath. To raise canopy to statutory clearances, (5.2m over road, 2.5m over footpath). To remove deadwood greater than 60mm over road and footpath, for safety purposes, minimising any chance for larger falling deadwood in windy conditions.

Ash (T2 of TPO 09/2019) - Reduce back crown over single storey block D4 by a maximum of 4m at its widest point (work mainly relates to over extended limbs over roof). Reduce back low branches over the roof to create 3m clearance. Cutback branches from front of the adjacent building (D6) to create 2-3m clearance. To help balance the crown, reduce remaining crown by approx. 2m. To avoid altering the balance of the tree as a whole, the crown of the tree should be reduced in proportion to its original shape. All pruning cuts must be made at branch junctions, leaving sufficient live growth to maintain or enhance crown form.
