Proposal
T1 - Cherry Tree Cherry Tree - approx 50 feet high and 100 years old. It is showing extremely limited growth on its few branches. To all intents and purposes it has died and looks unsightly in the garden (it is covered by ivy). There is much die-back in evidence. We wish to have the tree cut down - leaving a stump at the base - as we believe it to be in a dangerous condition. We do not wish to replant as the tree was obstructing a clear view down the garden. T3 - Horse Chestnut - Reduce by approximately 3 to 4 metres, leaving a natural flowing crown outline and remove major deadwood. Ash (T2 of TPO 09/2019) - Reduce back crown over single storey block D4 by a maximum of 4m at its widest point (work mainly relates to over extended limbs over roof). Reduce back low branches over the roof to create 3m clearance. Cutback branches from front of the adjacent building (D6) to create 2-3m clearance. To help balance the crown, reduce remaining crown by approx. 2m. To avoid altering the balance of the tree as a whole, the crown of the tree should be reduced in proportion to its original shape. All pruning cuts must be made at branch junctions, leaving sufficient live growth to maintain or enhance crown form.
