Proposal

External works to south elevation reinstate half round gutter, new hopper head to match the existing on the north side as close as possible, new round downpipe and shoe all in cast iron and painted black. North elevation overhaul and decorate the existing hopper and downpipe, adding a new shoe and metal grated gully. Replace existing gutter with a slightly larger half round gutter. Repointing wash out open joints to approximately 50% plus of the elevations with a lime mortar mix as noted on the drawings. Some of the ashlar stone has been damaged from embedded iron expansion, it is proposed to remove the iron and carry out conservation repairs. Replace existing doors with new arched head oak doors. Replace the existing fixed windows on the East elevation with a pair of oak casement windows.
