Proposal

Upgrades to flow monitoring and associated hydraulic improvements at Alfriston WTW to increase capacity and accommodate higher peak flows. The proposed works include modification of the existing MCERTS-compliant Flow from Works (FFW) system to measure flows up to 130% of peak capacity, together with targeted hydraulic upgrades to infrastructure including inlet levels, feed pipes, syphon pumps and trickling filter distribution arms. No new structures are proposed and all new equipment will be modification to existing assets.
