Planning application
Long Meadow Land North Of 61 Park Lane Histon Cambridgeshire
Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
T18: Horse Chestnut - Reduce 3 long lateral limbs by 3 metres. These are the large limbs which reach East, North, and South. T22: Horse Chestnut - Reduce the height of the tree by up to 7 metres, reduce 1 lateral limb reaching North East by up to 5 metres, reduce remaining lateral limbs by 2 - 2.5 metres. Reason for works: the safety of users of Park Lane and Long Meadow. Long Meadow is open to the public and the trees are close enough to fall onto the highway. Professional inspection has shown decay and splits in the trees.
