Ash (T1) - Fell to ground. Reason: proximity to listed building (REFVAL 1330824, Grade II, Summer House at Tyrells Hall) poses risk of extensive property damage. The tree (T1) has grown in at a thirty degree angle due to surrounding Lombardy Poplars. Four of the Poplars have failed and fallen during recent years exposing T1 to prevailing winds. Although the tree displays no outward sign of decay the angle of growth and proximity to building poses a serious risk of damage. T1 has put on extensive adaptive growth in an effort to balance itself but this in turn presents further risk due to snap outs. It should also be noted that the area where the tree is located is prone to flooding due to proximity of river and pond. This could weakon the root ball and allow tree to fall into folly. See attached photographs for further reference. Propose planting replacement Alder.
