About conditions applications
How this application type works
This type of application deals with conditions attached to an existing permission, either by supplying the details a condition requires, called discharging it, or by asking to vary or remove one. It does not reopen the principle of the permission itself. Building often cannot lawfully start, or continue past a set stage, until the named conditions are discharged.

T2 Lime - growing over from neighbouring property, cut back to fence line by removing two metres. T3 Laburnum - growing over from neighbouring property, cut back to boundary line by removing two metres, leaving suitable growth points where possible. Trim ivy back to line also. Reasons - trees are heavily Ivy clad and leaning towards a listed building. To maintain light and size of trees also.

T1 Norway Spruce, approx 25 years old, 12 metres high - 1 on plan. Fell as this tree is impeding access to northern churchyard and there is a risk of this tree falling onto the adjacent Church Cottage, less than 5 metres away to the north. The churchyard soil is a shallow gravel - not like the surrounding clay - and a mature ash on the eastern churchyard boundary fell in a gale about 10 years ago, narrowly missing the east end of the church. The southern part of the churchyard is full, and burials now take place on the northern side - access is needed by mini diggers for grave digging. T2 Birch, approx 10 years old, self-sown, approx 6 metres high. Fell because this tree is impeding access to the northern churchyard and is damaging adjacent gravestone. T3 Pollard ash, at least 200 years old, Last pollarded approx 20 years ago. Trunk is splitting apart and has been wired up, but pollarding would reduce pressure. Propose to pollard back to existing stubs approx 5 metres above ground. Willing to plant one replacement tree - Ilex aquifolium - on northern boundary, adjacent to gate to Rectory Lane.

T1 Magnolia - Reduce height by 1.5m and bring the sides in to match. This will equate to 2m on the roadside as the tree is extremely unbalanced. T2 Box Elder - Reduce height by 2m and bring the sides in to match. Remove deadwood.
