Proposal

T001 Common holly (Ilex aquifolium) Remove epicormic growth on base & lower trunks to 4m above ground level. Reduce tree height by approximately 2m to reduce length and exposure of new growth above topping points. Clip sides by up to 1m to create a compact canopy shape. Cuts should be graded into the surrounding Canopy to leave a natural looking canopy profile. Reason: To manage regrowth from previous reduction points T002 Sweet chestnut (Castanea sativa) Sever and remove basal and epicormic growth to 2m above ground level. Remove deadwood in upper crown to just above live growth. Reduce slender elongated branch on East side of crown following reduction works to T001 back to previous pruning point which will leave a short branch around 3m long. Clip tips of lower branches on East side of crown by 2m to reduce slender branches hanging low over garden area. Reason: Declining tree with potentially hazardous branch over garden of 59 st Davids Drive T003 Sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus) Fell to ground level. Reason: Essential health and safety works - potentially hazardous tree G005 Common holly (Ilex aquifolium) Remove epicormic (basal) shoots. Reduce height to approximately 5m back to previous reduction points. Reason: To manage regrowth from previous reduction points
