This Submission/Proposal is NOT A PLANNING APPLICATION it relates to a consultation from EDF Energy Networks to Rochford District Council in Accordance with Circular 14/90. The Views of the Council are Therefore Sought in the Relation to the Following Proposal. EDF Energy Networks (EPN) Plc Proposed to Replace 5 Towers, as Indicated, on the Existing High Voltage (132,000v) Overhead Line and Indicated in Red on the Attached Plan Number GEN-OH-000014/1 Issue D, in th Parish of Rayleigh in the District Council of Rochford. It is for these Works that Application is Made.EDF Enery Networks (EPN) Plc propose to Replace Part of the Existing High Voltage (132,000v) Overhead Line Network with Underground Cables as Shown by Continuous Red Lines on Attached Plan. This Will Require that 5 Replacement Towers are Built Where Indicated. The Existing Overhead Lines and Over 20 Supporting Towers Coloured Green on the Plan will then be Removed. It Should be Noted that, Due to Limitations on Working on These Circuits, the Works will be Spread Over a Period of 4 Years.
