Proposal
Application for works to trees subject to Tree Preservation Order No 001 as follows:-T1- turkey oak: Remove epicormic growth up to 5m, and reduce branches overhanging the garden by up to 3m back to suitable pruning points. T2- sycamore: Reduce branches overhanging the garden by up to 3m, back to suitable pruning points. No more than 25% of the canopy should be removed during the works to trees T1 and T2. T3- sycamore: Remove. This is a supressed specimen with a decaying wound cavity in the main stem approximately 2m high. T4- horse chestnut: Reduce branches overhanging the garden by up to 3m, back to suitable pruning points. Slight crown thin the canopy, providing no branches with a diameter above 10cm are removed. No more than 35% of the canopy should be removed during the combined works on tree T4.
