Tree Type Beech label T2 Location: T2 1 Beech Located In the front garden of Copper Birch, Forest Drive, Kingswood Located 21 metres from Copper Birch property. Copper Beech tree is located in the front garden of Copper Birch on Forest Drive as indicated in the sketch drawing. Proposed Works Jake Meyers has proposed carrying out a 15 20% crown reduction to the mature Copper Beech. This is 1.5m off the crown and 2m from the sides. The tree is currently carrying a significant amount of end weight throughout the canopy, increasing the loading on the primary limbs. The proposed reduction will lessen the overall sail area and end weight, reducing the likelihood of branch or limb failure while retaining the trees natural shape, health and amenity value. The works will be carried out in accordance with BS3998:2010. Tree Work Recommendations using appropriate pruning cuts to maintain the long term health and structural integrity of the tree
