Castle Keep Cottage Castlefield Road Reigate Surrey RH2 0AP

The group of trees are located along the western boundary of Castle Keep Cottage. They consist of a single line of 20 leylandii cypress trees that have become very overgrown, with no growth below approx 2.4m. The trees are of varying sizes with trunk diameters ranging from approx 10cm to 400cm. The proposal is to remove the trees completely, felling all to a short stump. The reason for removal is that they have become unmanageable, present a significant fire hazard, and starve the property of light.
