Crown Lift to provide 5 metres clearance from ground level over road, shorten long low lateral limb to South over road so clear of phone lines etc by 3m, shorten 2 low limbs over house to North by 3m to clear roof line. Remove major deadwood greater than 20mm diameter from remainder of crown. height pre 25m post 25m crown spread pre 14m post 12m To allow vehicles beneath. G5. Sycamore and Lime LHS rear garden. Crown Lift to provide 5 metres clearance from ground level roadside only and ensure clear of phone line by 2m minimum. - to clear phone line.

Selective pruning of the lateral crown to reduce over extended limbs by 1.5-2m (Predominately on the east and west sides to rebalance), reduce other limbs where necessary to appropriate growth points with the goal of reducing weight load and rebalancing the crown.     Trees 1 and 2 (adjacent 150) prune back from their dwelling/garage by circa 3m and remove deadwood. The branches of both trees are extending across the curtilage of 150 Fleetwood Close. Some are in close proximity to the dwelling. Early pruning work, as requested, will enable the tree crown to be managed without recourse to substantial pruning cuts. Early intervention is therefore considered to be best practice in accordance with BS3998:2010: Tree Works - Recommendations. Tree 3 reduce height to circa 6m above ground level. The tree is in decline and presents no regenerative growth from lower on the branches or stem structure. If regenerative growth had been present it would have been feasible to specify pruning works to suitable growth points. Given the state of decline and absence of suitable pruning points it is considered prudent to remove the major branches but retain the lower stem for its ecological value. Works can be undertaken in accordance with BS3998:2010: Tree Works - Recommendations.
