T1-Ash. Fell to ground level. Reason for proposed work- Ash tree looks like it has early stage ash die back. There is less leaf on the crown than last year. In some areas of the crown, the tips of the branches has no leaf at all. Stem snapped out recently in calm conditions. Recommend fell before ash die back becomes more prevalent throughout the crown. Suggest re-plant with 1.8m silver birch or norway maple.

The proposed building is of Class E(e) - provision of medical or health services. A certificate of lawful development should be granted as the works comply with Permitted Development Part 7 Class A. The proposal is for a new treatment room of 16.5sqm to alleviate the pressure on current facilities. It would involve the construction of a single storey extension to the east side of the existing building with a mansard roof that would be reflective of the character and design of the existing building. Works would include timber stud walls with a timber roof structure and concrete trench footings to match the depth of the existing. Heathcote Medical Centre does not lie on article 2(3) land, nor is on a site of special scientific interest.
