Apple (A1) - crown reduction to a height of approximately 6m, removingthe most recent 2 - 3 years' upward growth (to bring fruiting part of tree back within reach and regain the long-term domed shape of the crown). Thin remaining branches where necessary (c10%) to avoid branches rubbing, and remove any branches significantly overhanging the public footpath. Holly (H2) - Crown reduction to a maximum height of 4 - 5m, retaining a domed shape as much as possible. Tree is getting too tall and shading adjacent parts of the garden.

I intend to remove the apricot tree which is growing on the northern boundary of my property with Crescent Road. Please see attached plan. The tree was originally grown as a fan on the south-facing side of theboundary wall, but has proved to be too vigorous. It has now reached aheight of approximately 5 metres, and significantly overhangs CrescentRoad where fruit is completely inaccessible and it sometimes obstructstaller vehicles. The large trunk is in direct contact with the tall brick wall, and I am concerned that if no action is taken the wall maybe damaged or become dangerous. A replacement apricot tree on a dwarfing stock will be positioned three metres to the west.
