Tree 2 The second sycamore has a substantial cavity approximately 600mm above ground level, with a considerable amount of internal decay visible within the affected area. i have concerns regarding the remaining sound wood and the trees structural integrity. Having considered the defects observed in both trees i believe further investigation and appropriate remedial action are warranted and the removal may be the most appropriate long term management option subject to my findings
