The Glass Reinforced Plastic kiosk units are constructed off-site at Wessex Water’s off site build depot in Salisbury and are fully fitted out with electrical equipment off-site before being taken to the WRC (photos included). They will be brought to site as fully operational units with electrical equipment included as self-contained piece of plant and machinery. This type of installation is often referred to as ‘plug and go’ as it acts as one integrated unit; there is no additional electrical or mechanical fitting required other than connection to the water treatment works and mains electricity.
