Crown reduce by up to 1.2 meters approximatly of apical and lateral growth, to suitable growth points. Further reduce by 1.5 meters approx limb extending over suppressed Prunus cerisifera var nigra (T2 purple plum) Repeat every two to three years dependant on vigour and vitality. T2 Prunus cerisifera var nigra (purple plum) formative prune to improve form and contain by removing to source wayward laterals into crown profile. Thin by 10%.
