Planning application
Clarendon Park Nottingham NG5 1AH
Works: Trees
Still open. Anyone can comment while the consultation period runs, and comments go to the council rather than to us.
Proposal
T2, T3 and T4 (Acer spp.) We seek consent to undertake selective side pruning and crown lifting to multiple Acer trees (T2, T3 and T4) to maintain clear sightlines for the site's security cameras. The works will be limited to the reduction of the lowest lateral branches that are obstructing the cameras, by up to 1.5 metres. Pruning will be targeted only to those branches directly affecting camera coverage and will not involve reduction of the entire side of any tree.

The process from here
This application is with Nottingham for determination. The council publicises it, consults neighbours and technical bodies where required, and weighs the responses against local and national planning policy.
The statutory target is eight weeks for most applications and thirteen for major development, though extensions of time are common. Comments carry most weight while the case is undecided, so check the council portal for the deadline if you want to respond.
About this record
Reading the register
This page mirrors an entry on the statutory planning register that Nottingham is required to keep. The published feed for this record does not state which type of application it is, which is common for older entries and for some council systems; the register entry on the council portal will say, alongside the case officer and any consultation dates.
Every planning application follows the same broad path: submission, validation, publicity, then a decision by officers or committee. Our guide to planning application types explains the common types and what each can approve.
