Planning application

636 Wollaton Road Nottingham Nottingham City NG8 2AF

Granted Nottingham 24/01057/PTPO Works to trees protected by TPO

Works: Trees

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

Fell 3 trees next 636 Wollaton Road T1 and T2 are Ash trees ( Fraxinus excelsior ) that have been identified as suffering from Ash Dieback and highlighted for removal because of this. It has been noted that both T1 & T2 have been observed with Inonotus hispidus high up the crown on more than one occasion. T3 is an Elm tree ( Ulmus procera ) that is now heavily affected by Dutch Elm disease. The further decline of all 3 trees is evident from the pictures at the bottom and due to the reduction in the timber strength caused by ash dieback the need for the removal is justified Due to the proximity to houses and the busy Road I am seeking permission to remove these trees Replant with 2 Pine trees.
